Group Service
GWA Group Service provides a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space for women who have experienced domestic abuse to explore their experiences, build self-efficacy and heal from their experience through connection and sisterhood. Our groups take place in dedicated group room on Quarry Road Aberdeen.
The Group service consists of three parts:
- Own My Life – This is a structured course which is available to women throughout the Grampian area and available both online and face to face.
- Connecting Women – Our informal support which is available to women who have or are accessing any of our support services.
- Participation & Activism – We offer a range of events for women to share their voice and lived experience. Supporting our campaigns for positive change and to end domestic abuse in our society.
We are passionate about women supporting women: “healing through connection, sisterhood and activism”.
