Children and Young People’s Service

Children and Young People’s Service offer support to children and young people aged between 4 – 18 years old who may have experienced domestic abuse in the past or could be experiencing domestic abuse now either within a household or in their own relationship.

Our service prioritises a confidential service dedicated to children and young people, which respects and advocates for their own individual experiences, rights. We believe that all children and young people should have a safe space to share their experiences and explore their feelings. We believe children and young people should be listened to without judgement or fear and have their voice heard.

Our core values of service are:

  • We are child centred – it is important that you feel believed and understood by us.
  • We are non-judgmental – we do not judge or criticise you.
  • We are flexible – we listen to what support you would like and adapt our support to suit you.
  • We are holistic – we offer advice/support to help your physical, emotional & social wellbeing.
  • We are advocates – we support you to have your voice heard.
