Volunteering
Volunteers can be instrumental in the support Grampian Women’s Aid provides. With funding cuts and rising demand due to the cost of living crisis, volunteers help bridge the gap by offering their time, skills, and compassion. Their dedication allows the charity to reach more people, run services effectively, and continue advocating for change in the community. Volunteers can contribute in various roles and commitment of time, no matter how small, making a meaningful impact in different ways.
Volunteers may assist with our awareness raising campaigns, events, carrying out practical tasks within our building spaces and refuge. Due to the confidential nature of our support we currently do not employ volunteers to provide direct support to women and children.
